Stainless steel welder — Wilcox County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Wilcox County, Georgia. You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
