Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Stanley County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
