Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Strong knife skills and speed on the line The role involves: • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
