Confectioner — Summers County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Summers County, West Virginia. The job is at a busy bakery. Day to day you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
