Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
