Steam press operator — Clinton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Clinton County, Missouri. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
