Site safety steward • Burt County, Nebraska

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Burt County, Nebraska. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate On a typical shift you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $180 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
