Your main tasks: • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
