Fire and safety officer wanted in Lyman County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Lyman County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
