Cnc turner wanted in City of Newport News

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc turner in City of Newport News, Virginia. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Performance bonus on top of base pay.
