Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent The role involves strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. £2,700 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
