The role involves: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
