We are recruiting: fabricator-welder (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Midland County, Texas. You will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
