Requirements: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Day to day you will strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line.
