System scaffolder • Vale of Glamorgan, Wales

We are recruiting: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. You should have: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Your main tasks: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely £2,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
