Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Ralls County, Missouri. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Rotating shifts.
