MIG welder wanted in Rensselaer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Rensselaer County, New York. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
