Join our team: mining dozer operator (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Spalding County, Georgia. You will be based at a land-clearing site. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
