Bakery assistant • Fremont County, Colorado

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Fremont County, Colorado. You will work at a cake shop. The role involves: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
