What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
