Crane rigger — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Jefferson County, Indiana. You will be based at a container port. The role involves: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
