Vacancy available: stitching operator (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Monroe County, Missouri. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go 4+ years on the tools preferred.
