Gas metal arc welder • Oliver County, North Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Oliver County, North Dakota. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
