Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Macon County, Tennessee. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
