Tig welder wanted in Coffee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Coffee County, Alabama. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
