Join our team: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Borough of Torbay, England. You will be based in a refurbishment property. Your main tasks: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic 6+ years on the tools preferred.
