Urgent requirement: die-casting operator (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On a typical shift you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
