Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Carroll County, Arkansas. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
