Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Polk County, Nebraska. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
