Pipe TIG welder — Glynn County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Glynn County, Georgia. The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
