Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bennington County, Vermont. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
