Sewing machine operator — Chisago County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Chisago County, Minnesota. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
