Immediate opening: we are hiring a dogger in Lincoln County, Maine. The job is on a high-rise building site. The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
