Incoming goods inspector — Pope County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Pope County, Illinois. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Part-time with flexible hours.
