Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Calhoun County, Georgia. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day to day you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience.
