Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Payette County, Idaho. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
