Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Kusada, Katsina State. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
