Metal caster — Kings County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Kings County, California. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
