The role involves: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
