Die-casting operator wanted in Kemper County

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Kemper County, Mississippi. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
