Tracked excavator operator • Wabaunsee County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. You will be based on a housing development site. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
