We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Jefferson County, Idaho. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Day to day you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring.
