Ideal candidate: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts The role involves check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling.
