Health and safety supervisor — City of Petersburg

Great opportunity: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in City of Petersburg, Virginia. Day to day you will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
