Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile setter in Greene County, Iowa. The role involves lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system. Requirements: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience.
