Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Ohaozara, Ebonyi State. The job is at a power plant. On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. ₦430,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
