Reinforcement steel fixer • Hertfordshire, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Hertfordshire, England. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
