Occupational health and safety officer — Chippewa County

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Chippewa County, Michigan. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On the job you will handle: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
