Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Dunklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Dunklin County, Missouri. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
