The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
